New plans for shared campus in school

Feel free to pop into school, as you drop off or collect your children and view the plans of the new Duneane & Moneynick: Partners in Learning, Shared Campus.  We are all very excited that we can now see what the architects have designed for us. Two sites have been identified within the local area, that are under consideration for the construction of the Campus.

At last week's Project Management Board Meeting the following Communiqué was released:

Further to our Communiqué of the 31st May 2017 sites are being considered within the area of the

two schools. In progressing two preferred sites, investigation works have begun to assess ground

conditions suitable for the construction of a school building. The outcome of the investigation will

assist in the identification of sites to be considered in a Business Case for funding. The funding for

the Shared Campus programme to proceed to Planning is ‘ring‐fenced’and secure.

In the near future a Survey will be circulated to all Stakeholders to reassess current views on a

proposed shared campus and the outline design plan will be available for sight.

The two schools continue the development of their shared work through their curriculum.

The Project Board will continue to meet on a regular basis and further updates will be provided as

the Business Case finalises.
