Our Sports Day was held on 2nd June 2023 at 10am at John Bell's field behind the Church. All our children from Reception to P7 took part in the sprint, beanbag jump/sack race, bat and beanbag/bat and ball race, beanbag/javelin throw, hoops/shuttle run and the house team race. We also had a toddlers, Mummys/womens, and Daddys/mens race too. We all had a brilliant Sports Day and everyone enjoyed themselves too (the mens race got a bit feisty at times). Every child got a medal and had a great time with plenty of smiles!
Thank you to Paul for providing a van and help for transporting benches and table. Thank you to Sharon and Steven for the fencing posts for the bunting. Thank you to the Spar in Toome for supplying the water. Thank you to Mrs Anderson and staff for organising and carrying out a well-run event. Finally, a big thank you to John Bell for the use of his field, something which has been done at Duneane Primary School for many many years. It was the perfect setting for a great event! It was the best Sports Day I've had in a School setting! Well done everyone!
