Reception to P2 worked on length outside in the playground. We found items that were longer and shorter than a skipping rope. Then we made a line of bricks the same length as a skipping rope and finally built a tower of bricks that was the same height as a partner.
P4-P6 explored 2D shapes. We recapped on shape names and properties through group activities, we went on a shape walk around the school. During our shape walk the children identified different shapes and compared them to the examples. Everyone really enjoyed the activity and showed great team work.
