Outdoor learning for Numeracy Week!
Today we worked together to carry out practical Numeracy Challenges with our wonderful outdoor resources. In station one we used balanced weighing scales to try to get each side to balance. In station two the children had to roll a ball and record the time. The slowest time won! In the third station children were able to use number stones to come up with adding, taking away, multiplying and dividing sums. The older children worked fantastically with the younger children and even showed them some new things in Numeracy. Mr Charles completed the session at the end with a plenary to consolidate our learning and key mathematical language. Another fantastic day in our fabulous Numeracy Week at Duneane!
