On Friday 27th May our PTA organised a very successful Street Party to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Entertainment was provided by the Bubble Man, a Punch and Judy show, face painting and live music by the Blazin' Bellows. A commemorative rose was also planted by the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant Dr. Shellagh Hillan, MBE. Children and adults participated in a 1950s themes fancy dress competition which was judged by Mr. Trevor Clarke, MLA. We as a school would like to thank all who sponsored the event: Bell Transport; Foster Forklift and Plant; McCauley Trailers; Alexander Tractors; Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and Arnold Clarke. Thanks also to Mr. Trevor Clarke, MLA for supplying the prizes for the fancy dress competition.
