Today the children in Primary 4-7 went to the War Memorial Museum in Belfast where they enjoyed learning more about World War 2, their class topic at the moment. First of all, they had a presentation followed by some time looking at the artefacts from that era in the museum downstairs. They even had time to try on some uniforms from people who worked in the War effort in World War 2 and play some board games that children would have played with at that time. The children had a great time and learned so much from their trip. After lunch, the weather stayed dry so they even had time to enjoy some fun in the Mo Mowlam Park which they all thoroughly enjoyed before heading home! A great trip was had by all!
