Sentry Hill Visit
21st Nov 2024
Today the children went to Sentry Hill as part of their Victorians topic. They had a tour of the house that the Mckinney family lived in and then they were all involved in lots of activities in their classroom workshop. Here they got to look at some Victorian clothes, see items from a Victorian household, toys the children would have played with and see items from a Victorian schoolroom. Some of the children even had the experience of the cane, back board and the finger stocks! The children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their trip with the added bonus of making a Victorian Christmas decoration which they all got to bring back home.
