The children have been learning about writing instructions and all the things that are to be included in a piece of instructional writing. They have discussed the terms of title, ingredients, equipment, method, time words and using a variety of verbs within their writing. They looked at the process of making a cup of tea, what was involved in each step and all the equipment that was needed. The children then began writing their own instructions for how to make a cup of tea for Mrs. Hutchinson. All the children did a great job!
